Biography
Prudencio Sáez, Spanish luthier, became independent in 1963 to create his own family workshop in Torrent (Valencia), dedicated exclusively to the artisanal construction of classical and flamenco guitars. With a meticulous selection of fine woods such as cedar, spruce and rosewood, it revolutionized affordable quality in studio and concert instruments, earning a reputation for its balance between tradition and technical evolution. His personal legacy is reflected in the unique character of each guitar, made “the old-fashioned way” with natural drying of woods and attention to detail.
Background
Since its foundation as Guisama S.L., the workshop has grown from basic learning models to professional ranges, including amplified and flamenco cutaways, adapting to market demands without losing the artisanal method. The third generation, led by Prudencio Sáez Marín, maintains production in Torrent, exporting internationally and receiving recognition for its deep sound and projection. Today, in 2026, it continues to be a reference in Spanish lutherie for its unbeatable quality and competitive price.
