About the product

Since 1963, Prudencio Sáez represents the artisanal Spanish guitar made in Spain, with careful construction that balances tradition, innovation and a quality-price ratio highly valued by advanced and professional guitarists. The 5-PS Professional Classical Guitar model (138) is located in the workshop’s high range, designed as an accessible concert instrument for those looking for a definitive leap in sound and comfort.

The Prudencio Sáez 5-PS (138) is built entirely with solid woods: Canadian cedar or German spruce top with bracing system lattice, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, cedar neck and ebony fingerboard with fiber reinforcement. The set is completed by a rosewood bridge, bone nut and saddle, gold-plated headstock and glossy finish, with a scale of 650 mm and a nut width of 52 mm, classic measurements that favor natural ergonomics.

Lattice bracing under the cap allows for greater vibratory efficiency, offering more projection and immediate response without sacrificing dynamic control. The solid rosewood body provides stability, tonal depth and a sober but elegant aesthetic, highly appreciated in classical guitars and in contexts close to the more classical flamenco guitar.

The combination of Canadian cedar or German spruce with Indian rosewood generates a warm tone, with great harmonic richness and a balanced projection that fills the room without fanfare. The lattice provides a very open sound, with generous sustain, clear attacks and a quick response that adapts both to the classical repertoire and to passages close to the more contained flamenco guitar.

A natural, transparent acoustic is perceived, which allows the articulation of controlled pianissimos and full-bodied fortissimos, without losing definition between voices. Many users highlight its comfort of play and the feeling of a professional instrument that “invites you to play”, ideal for those looking for a handmade concert guitar that will accompany many years of study and enjoyment at home.

Designed for demanding guitarists who value the work of a Spanish luthier and the charm of a handcrafted classical guitar, this 5-PS (138) invites you to discover, with each touch, new nuances and turn it into the sound center of your daily space.
