About the product

Since 1963, the Prudencio Sáez workshop has been manufacturing Spanish guitars by hand in Valencia, maintaining “old-fashioned” manual processes and its own selection of woods. Its catalog ranges from studio models to high-end concert instruments, with a solid reputation among national and international guitarists.

The Prudencio Sáez 1‑M (formerly G3) is an all-solid guitar: solid cedar top, solid sapelly back and sides, built piece by piece in the workshop. It has a samanguila neck with a comfortable profile, rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, 650 mm throw and 52 mm nut, with a glossy lacquered finish that enhances the grain without hindering the natural acoustics of the instrument. The set offers a Spanish guitar that is light in weight, very comfortable in the left hand and with a tight action that facilitates slurs, arpeggios and quick position changes.

Thesolid cedar provides a warm and round sound, with deep bass and creamy mids, ideal if you come from German spruce or Canadian cedar guitars and are looking for more body without losing definition. The solid sapelly on the back and sides contributes to a generous volume, a balanced projection and an immediate response, with good harmonic richness throughout the register. It is a classical guitar that responds naturally to both a more intimate touch and an attack close to that of a flamenco guitar, always with clarity and controlled sustain.

Perfect for those who want to enjoy at home a handmade concert guitar made in Spain, with a professional guitar feel and inspiring sound character that simply invites you to play a little longer.

The Prudencio Sáez 1‑M is a handmade semi-professional classical guitar, made in Spain, designed for those who want to take a clear leap in comfort and richness of sound while still playing at home with a concert instrument. It combines traditional Spanish luthier construction with a balanced projection and a warm sound that places it very close to a professional guitar.
