About the product

Located in Casasimarro, Cuenca, Vicente Carrillo‘s workshop continues a saga of luthiers that dates back to 1744. Internationally recognized as one of Spain’s most refined artisans, Carrillo combines family tradition with modern construction techniques that seek balance, response and acoustic beauty. Each guitar that bears his seal is born from a constant search for the purest expression of the Spanish sound.

The Vicente Carrillo Alegrias Blanca is a handmade flamenco guitar made in Spain, with a traditional character and bright sound. Its top is made of top quality German spruce, selected for its elasticity and projection capacity. The sides and back are made of solid Spanish cypress, which provides lightness, quick response and that dry and clear timbre characteristic of the flamenco touch.
The Brazilian cedar neck is complemented by an ebony fingerboard and a nitrocellulose lacquer varnish that enhances the natural grain of the wood and allows a free and open vibration. Its interior houses traditional fan bracing, meticulously tuned to guarantee homogeneity and dynamic control throughout the register.

The sound of the Alegrias Blanca is clear, direct and penetrating, with a lively resonance that responds to the slightest touch of the right hand. Its tone combines balanced projection with a fast and bright attack, ideal for precise strums, clean chops and energetic falsetas. It maintains a transparent harmonic background, without harshness, which gives the performer a surprising sensation of control and expressiveness even in soft dynamics.

A professional guitar that captures the essence of the Spanish flamenco school and invites you to discover the genuine emotion of the Andalusian touch.
