About the product
The Guitarras Esteve workshop
The Adalid Flamenca Negra de Esteve is an example of what happens when the tradition of the Spanish guitar intersects with the demands of a contemporary luthier. Manufactured under the supervision of the teacher Manuel Adalid in Valencia, this flamenco guitar brings together the sensitivity of a studio instrument and the resistance of a daily work flamenco guitar, designed for those looking for a professional guitar with natural acoustics and defined character, without the need for amplification.
Technical details and construction
The Black Flamenco Adalid features a solid German spruce top on a solid Indian rosewood body on the back and sides, a combination that provides stability and a dense harmonic core. The cedar neck with carbon fiber reinforcement and ebony fingerboard guarantees lightness, shooting stability and a very precise response to the pressure of the left hand. The instrument is finished with nitrocellulose lacquer, typical of handmade concert guitars made in Spain, enhancing the resonance without restricting the board.
Sound and character
The result is a flamenco guitar with a warm sound, but with enough clarity so that the beat and the nail strokes are clearly perceived. The bass is defined and deep, while the treble retains a crisp texture, without sounding metallic, allowing for balanced projection even in small spaces. The response is immediate: the board reacts transparently to the attack, offering a rich harmonic resonance and a generous sustain, ideal for those who enjoy interaction with the sound itself more than with external effects.
Have this guitar at home and you will not only have a high-end handmade flamenco guitar, but with a companion that, every time you pick it up, will invite you to relax, tune up your listening and enjoy a timbre full of nuances, as only an authentic Spanish guitar can offer.
