About the product
The Guitarras Esteve workshop
The Esteve 6F is a handmade flamenco guitar, made in Spain by one of the most respected names in Mediterranean instrumental lutherie, with more than six decades of experience synthesizing tradition and precision industrial fit.
Esteve, based in Valencia, has built its reputation on classical and flamenco guitars of international reference, combining artisan workshop techniques with very demanding acoustic control. The 6F embodies that philosophy: a flamenco paso model, designed to offer flamenco authenticity within an instrument of rigorous construction and long durability.
Technical details and construction
The solid spruce top (Picea abies) works with a light and very thin bracing, typical of Flemish design, which allows a quick and agile response. Back and sides in solid sycamore, with a cedar neck and ebony fingerboard, reinforce the stability and percussive projection characteristic of the Andalusian flamenco guitar. The varnish is clear polyurethane, acoustically closer to a microlacquer, combining protection and freedom from vibration of the lid.
Sound and character
The sound character of this 6F is live, direct and clearly flamenco: dry attack, a lot of definition in the bass and clean treble, with a sustain that is contained but very musical, ideal for hitting, strumming and incisive plucking. The balanced projection and the immediate response make the instrument “gain time” with the player, even in small spaces, without losing the warmth and harmonic richness typical of a Spanish guitar with a full body and solid top.
Choosing this Esteve 6F is getting closer to a flamenco guitar made in Spain that invites you to play more every day, with a sound that feels like a natural echo of your own hand.
