About the product
The Guitarras Camps workshop
The Camps brothers, Spanish luthiers from Girona, represent the artisan tradition of the flamenco guitar made in Spain. Its construction philosophy unites select solid woods with innovations such as carbon fiber reinforcement in the neck, validated by concert pianist Manuel Granados, who tests each instrument before it leaves the workshop.
Technical details and construction
The Camps PRIMERA NEGRA stands out for its solid German spruce top, solid Indian rosewood sides and back, cedar neck with reinforcement of carbon fiber, ebony fingerboard and rosewood bridge, and bone nuts. 650 mm scale, 52 mm nut and case depth between 85-90 mm ensure impeccable ergonomics. The glossy polyurethane finish highlights its lightness (around 1450 g) and professional craftsmanship.
Sound and character
Its flamenco sound offers immediate response and balanced projection, with greater volume and harmonic richness thanks to the dense rosewood compared to the white cypress. The deep resonance, warm sustain and tonal transparency evoke a versatile natural acoustic, ideal for intense palos or classical pieces, with a timbre that envelops the home space in sensory depth.
Feel how this handcrafted flamenco guitar awakens your passion in each intimate strum, inviting you to make it yours for that unique connection with flamenco.
