About the product

Juan Hernández is a Spanish luthier whose career runs through the Valencian guitar tradition, with extensive experience in historical workshops that have allowed him to polish a deeply artisanal craft. Their guitars, hand-built in Spain, stand as benchmarks of quality, designed for those looking for a handcrafted concert instrument with a balance between historical tradition and playing comfort.

The Torres model is presented with solid German spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides, articulated by bracing that follows the traditional Torres scheme. The scale can be 640 or 650 mm, with a thin neck and 50 or 51 mm nut, designed for comfortable playing without losing tonal firmness. The lid is protected with shellac, which favors resonance and acoustic transparency, while the body is finished in nitrocellulose, providing shine and a more resistant finish, maintaining a classic and elegant aesthetic.

This classical guitar offers a warm, sweet and balanced sound, with balanced projection and harmonic richness that is expressed in each register. The response is immediate under the buds, with a transparent texture and a tonal depth that invites introspection; The sustain is generous but contained, ideal for lyrical and articulate phrasing. Its natural acoustics and ergonomic comfort make it both an organic professional guitar and a studio instrument that elevates the home playing experience to concert levels.

Discovering the Torres model by Juan Hernández is being seduced by an ancient, warm and close voice, which invites you to enjoy each work as if it were the first time.
