Juan Hernández is a Valencian luthier trained in the Guitarras Esteve workshops, where he matured a philosophy that combines technical rigor, tonal sensitivity and a deep knowledge of the Spanish guitar. Above all in its current work, directed by Alberto Hernández, the brand is based on the Spanish construction tradition, prioritizing the quality of finish, the selection of tones and the ergonomics of execution.

The Romantic classical guitar by Juan Hernández is a living tribute to the tradition of romantic guitars of the late 18th century, reinterpreted with the acoustic precision of a contemporary Spanish luthier.

The Romántica model features a solid German spruce (Picea abies) top, with polychrome maple (Acer pseudoplatanus) back and sides, which provides definition and a slight bright character to the sound. The neck is made of cedar (Cedrela odorata), with ebony fingerboard, and a scale of 630 mm and nut of 48 mm, with a comfortable and accessible reed profile. The instrument is finished with special varnish by hand, and retains a spirit of updated classical romantic construction, with a generous design on the neck.

The result is a classical guitar with a romantic and warm character, with a wide resonance for its size, great harmonics and a balanced projection. The basses are soft and round, without losing definition, while the middle voice remains transparent and the high voice has a sweet texture, with a sustain that invites cantabile phrasing.
