About the product

The classical guitar Juan Hernández “Modelo Luthier” embodies the essence of handmade Spanish lutherie, born in the Valencian workshop of a master who has built his reputation on the Structural precision and tonal richness. Each instrument in this series is hand-carved, respecting the construction tradition and the rigorous selection of tone woods, with a clear objective: to offer a handcrafted concert guitar, made in Spain, that combines balance, comfort and its own sound character.

The solid top can be made of Canadian cedar or German spruce, both woods highly valued for their harmonic response and the ability to illuminate melodic and harmonic textures. The sides and back are made of Pau Ferro, a high-density wood that provides a warm, balanced tonal backing with a fundamental richness ideal for both classical and flamenco music.
The mast is made of cedar, with ebony fingerboard, which gives a feeling of lightness and fluidity to the movement of the left hand, while the 650 mm scale favors the projection and clarity of the polyphony. The lattice bracing system, reinforced with carbon fiber, optimizes response, sustain and richness of harmonics, ensuring very generous natural acoustics without sacrificing clarity. The finish is done with natural nitrocellulose lacquer, which respects the vibration of the wood and enhances the aesthetics of this concert instrument.

The sound character of the “Luthier Model” is defined by a deep resonance, with a warm sound in the bass and a very lively harmonic foreground, which allows you to hear every detail of the polyphony without the whole becoming heavy. The balanced projection makes the guitar open easily, even in medium-sized spaces, always maintaining great transparency in the melodic line.
The response is immediate, with a well-defined attack and a generous sustain that allows the development of the phrase without tension, ideal for both concert repertoire and home studio. The harmonics gain dimension and color, and the guitar adapts naturally to classical and flamenco styles, thanks to a Spanish guitar that combines tradition and modern design.

Imagine being able to play a handcrafted classical concert guitar every day, made in Spain, where natural acoustics, harmonic richness and comfort meet so that the instrument stops being just an object and becomes a natural extension of your ear and your touch.
