About the product

From the Alboraia workshops, in the heart of the Valencian luthier tradition, Guitarras Esteve has been building handcrafted instruments since 1957, applying techniques inherited from generation to generation. Its philosophy combines artisanal rigor and selected materials with an unmistakably Spanish sound identity, without concessions to the industrial.

The Gipsy Kings Flamenca Natural by André Reyes is a narrow body flamenco guitar, handcrafted in Valencia according to the personal specifications of the legendary guitarist. by the Gipsy Kings. The top is made of solid spruce (Picea abies), a tone wood of renowned clarity and natural projection. The sides and back are made of solid cypress, the canonical material of the Spanish white flamenco guitar, which guarantees structural lightness and a direct percussive response. The neck is cedar and the fingerboard is ebony, a combination that offers tactile comfort and clean articulation. The bridge is made of Indian rosewood, as are the attractive profiles that run along the sides, back and headstock. The finish is in natural polyurethane, with the standard scale of 650 mm.

The cypress gives the timbre that dry, bright and crystalline color so typical of the most authentic flamenco: an immediate response that turns each strum into a discharge of pure energy. The spruce top adds body and harmonic richness, balancing attack and sustain with a tonal transparency that few handcrafted flamenco guitars achieve at this level. The natural acoustics of this Spanish guitar effortlessly fill the space, with a balanced projection that invites you to play more and stop less.

There are guitars that change the way one relates to the instrument. This Esteve Gipsy Kings Natural is one of them — and you know it is from the first chord.
