Construction and materials
The Esteve Anniversary classical guitar is built with solid Canadian cedar or German spruce top, selected for its high dynamic response and harmonic richness. Solid cocobolo back and sides provide a density close to Indian rosewood, but with an even more incisive and defined character in the low register. The cedar neck with carbon fiber reinforcement and ebony fingerboard guarantee stability, precision and a firm tactile feel under the fingers. The nitrocellulose finishing varnish enhances the grain and allows the lid to vibrate freely, supported by a double lid system developed by Adalid to improve volume and balanced projection.
Sound and character
Its tone offers a warm and enveloping sound, with tonal depth in the bass, very present midrange and clear but never aggressive treble. The response is immediate, with generous sustain and a balanced projection that fills the room without losing transparency or control when playing pianissimo.
