About the product
The Guitarras Esteve workshop
Esteve Guitars represents the tradition of the Spanish guitar made in Spain, with a workshop in Valencia where a team of luthiers combines artisanal construction and modern quality control processes. The 9 CB series is located in the brand’s high range, designed as an accessible professional instrument for guitarists looking for a classical concert guitar with careful finishes and balanced natural acoustics.
Technical details and construction
The Esteve 9 CB is a completely solid Spanish guitar, available with Canadian cedar or German spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides. The neck is made of cedar reinforced with ebony, ebony fingerboard and polyurethane finish, offering stability, silky touch and great durability in intensive use.
Its bracing system uses harmonic bars with carbon fiber reinforcement (carbon bracing), a contemporary solution that increases the controlled rigidity of the lid without adding weight, improving the response and balanced projection of the assembly. All of this makes up a handmade guitar made in Spain that maintains the classic aesthetic, but with an optimized interior for greater harmonic richness.
Sound and character
With cedar top, the 9 CB offers a warm, very enveloping sound, with smooth attack and generous sustain, ideal for cantabile phrasing and deep middle registers. The German spruce version provides greater transparency, note-to-note definition and a more direct projection, appreciated by those seeking clarity in polyphony and fine dynamic nuance.
The Indian rosewood reinforces round bass and luminous treble, giving an immediate and balanced response across the entire fretboard, both for classical repertoire and for a touch close to the lighter flamenco guitar. The combination of carbon bracing and Spanish luthier construction results in a professional guitar sensitive to the slightest change in touch, with great resonance and tonal depth, perfect for enjoying every detail of the sound at home or in the studio.
Whoever approaches an Esteve 9 CB discovers a handmade concert guitar that invites you to play more and better, an instrument that accompanies the evolution of the guitarist and that, from the first chord, is difficult to leave out of the cart.
