In the Esteve Guitars workshop in Valencia, construction is based on traditional Spanish design, fan-braced top and manual assembly of each piece, with a focus on structural stability and rich, balanced natural acoustics. This 7SR is located in the “all solid” range of the house, with woods seasoned and selected by the luthiers’ own team, offering an authentic Spanish guitar of a professional nature.

The Esteve 7SR has a solid cedar top (Thuja plicata) or German spruce (Picea abies), rosewood back and sides. Solid Indian (Dalbergia latifolia), samanguila neck (Khaya ivorensis) and ebony fingerboard from West Africa, with glossy polyurethane varnish finish. The 650 mm scale, the rosewood bridge and the traditional Spanish zoque reinforce the transmission of vibration, while the classic fan bracing ensures a homogeneous response throughout the register.

With Canadian cedar top, the 7SR offers awarm sound, with great resonance, abundant sustain and richness harmonica, ideal for a classical guitar or advanced studio flamenco guitar with balanced projection and excellent clarity in the mid-low register. In the German spruce version, the tone becomes more transparent and articulate, with quick attack, greater definition in the treble and a very controllable projection, perfect for broad dynamics and detailed nuances in a handcrafted concert instrument. To the touch, the traditional profile neck and ebony fingerboard provide a solid and precise feel, inviting both daily home study and sensitive performance of demanding repertoire.
