The Guitarras Camps workshop
Camps, a Spanish luthier with roots in Porqueres since 1945, embodies the artisanal tradition of classical guitars made in Spain. Founded by Juan Camps Coll and continued by his sons Javier and Jordi, each instrument reflects a philosophy of precision and passion for natural acoustics.
Technical details and construction
The Camps M10 CEDRO has a solid cedar top for a warm response, ziricote back and sides that provide tonal depth, cedar neck with adjustable rod for optimal ergonomics, and ebony fingerboard. Rosewood bridge, bone nuts (52 mm in the head, 58 mm between 1st and 6th string), 650 mm throw and glossy finish complete its handcrafted construction.
Sound and character
Its sound stands out for its balanced and enormous projection, with deep and powerful bass that does not overshadow the crystalline and lustrous treble. It offers fast response in all registers, harmonic richness and prolonged sustain, evoking a warm and transparent resonance ideal for the professional classical guitar.
