About the product

Paco Castillo is a Valencian firm specialized in handmade Spanish guitar, with a family tradition linked to lutheria since the seventies and a philosophy based on traditional Spanish construction, taking care of the selection of woods and hand-made finishes. Its classical guitars, flamenco guitars, lutes and bandurrias made in Spain have earned the trust of students and professionals for their reliability, comfortable touch and very balanced natural acoustics.

The Paco Castillo B6 bandurria has a solid German spruce top, selected for its rigidity and projection capacity, combined with solid European curly maple back and sides, which provide clarity and definition to the harmonic spectrum. The neck is constructed of Honduran cedar, with ebony fingerboard and high-quality gold tuners, offering stability, precision in tuning and a professional instrument feel under the fingers. The high-gloss finishing varnish enhances the grain of the curly maple and protects the structure, respecting the vibration of the top and the balanced projection of the whole.

The solid German spruce provides an immediate response, with great resonance, articulate attack and a rich spectrum of harmonics, ideal for clear melodic lines and chords with tonal depth. The solid curly maple balances this character with transparency and control, providing a clear sound, with defined sustain and balanced projection, which adapts to both the more delicate touch and the firmer strumming typical of the Spanish plectrum repertoire. The result is a handcrafted concert instrument made in Spain, which combines comfort, precision and a warm but very focused voice, perfect for those looking for a professional bandurria with its own identity.

A bandurria designed to accompany you for many years, inviting you to discover new nuances in each study session and to enjoy at home an inspiring sound typical of a reference Spanish luthier.
